Captain Manuel Ocaranza has had his captains license for the past 8 years. He is a 3rd generation fisherman from Puerto Vallarta and has been fishing these waters for over 25 years, learning the trade from his father, a professional fisherman for over 50 years. These years of experience have helped him establish excellent working relationships with many of the boats and crews fishing in Vallarta, a quality that is difficult to achieve yet invaluable to possess. Prior to his running Pacifico, many may be familiar with his great success as a charter captain for the prior 2 seasons in PV, but he has also served as professional crew for 6 years on yachts running from Panama to Canada and numerous ports in between. He has fished numerous tournaments during that time including the Bisbee in Cabo, and his time away from Vallarta has enabled him to learn the many different techniques that are used by the top captains up and down the west coast . After having some phenomenal success the past 2 seasons in Vallarta he takes the helm of Pacifico, a boat he feels is perfectly suited for the fishery. He is very personable and loves to fish.

2nd Captain- Antonio Ocaranza Casillas 

 Captain Tony comes to us with over 16 years of captains experience. He has returned to  fishing these rich waters of Vallarta for another season after spending the last three years fishing out of the Azores Islands off of Portugal. He has fished the Atlantic, Panama, Costa Rica, as well as a team member in several Bisbees Black and Blue tournaments. Considered to be one of the very best fishermen in Puerto Vallarta , he too is a third generation fisherman. His eagle eyes are invaluable when the time comes to locate the fish, and his skills as a wireman are unmatched. He has been on many tournament winning teams in Cabo, Mazatlan, Vallarta, and Barra Navidad.
