Welcome to
the home of Pacifico, mainland Mexico’s hottest and best
equipped sport fisher to catch the giant pelagic of a
lifetime. We run hard, and we fish harder. Captain Manny
Ocaranza has established himself as one of the best
captains in Puerto Vallarta, and he now runs the best
boat in the area.
We are a
private recreational sportfisher located in Puerto
Vallarta, Mexico. We are not a commercial operation,
fishing with friends and business associates. We are
hardcore and we love what we do. And what we do is catch
fish, and this is where you can live vicariously thru
our own experiences.
Pacifico is a
newer air conditioned 33’ Blackfin Flybridge, with a Deep -V
hull designed by Charles Jannace. It boasts 750 HP and
cruises at speeds most others wish they could top out
at. A sharp entry crushes head seas, and a reverse chine
steadies the boat on the drift. 6 tuna tubes, a 70
gallon live well, Lee double spreaders, and a Murray
Bros. Rocket launcher are on deck. Furuno 40 mile bird
radar, Garmin gps with real time weather, and 2 9db Icom
VHF are up top. And Furuno FCV-985 with side scan sonar
are underneath. Our gear is top of the line and
blueprinted Penn 70’s, 80’s and Tiagra 80’s and 50wlrs’,
all on custom built Calstar rods by Yo’s. Topshots by
Basil takes it to the terminal connection where only the
strongest and best hooks are used like Hayabusa, Owner,
and Hays .
There
are no excuses on Pacifico. And we are determined to
provide the best fishing trip ever had, by the hardest
working crew you’ve ever seen. We love what we do, and
we love doing it in the most productive fishery in the
world. No shouting, yelling or any
of that stuff. Fun and Fishing are meant to be together.
